Sliding
gates offer a number of advantages over swing gates and are generally the more popular choice in mainland Europe. Why ..?
A
sliding gate does not need the space that a swing gate requires to open. This leaves the full length of the driveway usable
for parking vehicles (useful where space is restricted). A closed sliding gate offers better resistance to being forced than
a pair of swing gates and therefore higher security.
Sliding gates will work across an upward sloping driveway where a
pair of swing gates would not open inward.
Asset Fencing install a range of sliding gates motors for all applications.
From single user domestic gates of 300 kilos to continual use Industrial ‘Sliders’ weighing up to 4 tonnes. Whatever
the gate we have the right motor for the job!
For commercial and industrial premises, Asset Fencing provide a range
of traffic control bollards and rising arm barriers to suit a variety of applications.
These are fast acting systems,
moving from open to closed positions in 3 – 6 seconds, and suitable for busy entrances where an automated gate would
be too slow.
Barriers and Bollards are used both stand alone and in conjunction with security gates which
are closed out of normal business hours to provide intruder security.
A wide range of access control
equipment; Radio Controls, Card Readers, Loop Detectors etc, can be interfaced with these units to suit the requirements of
individual entrances
